NO STADIUM ENTRANCE

Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler; And whosoever erreth thereby is not wise.

Adam Clarke said it as well as any that I have seen when he wrote that wine deceives by its fragrance, intoxicates by its strength and makes one ridiculous. The other day, I worked at Ohio Stadium at an entry portal for people to come into the stadium for Spring Football Game (more accurately called an organized game practice). Two young men, probably in their twenties, were running around and frolicking like little boys and girls do – but they were not little boys. Security saw this and let them know, tickets or not, they were not allowed in the stadium. The word “wine” is not limited to only that type of drink; it’s a word that represents all #alcoholic beverages. #wisdom, #proverbs
