Proverbs 22:1. A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, And loving favor rather than silver and gold (Prov. 22.1). For a good many in the public sector (elected officials), this is naïve; but those who are considered naïve by some stand firm when judgment stones are thrown. Public sector or not, how firm is your standing, how anchored is your soul’s hope?
