Proverbs 24:1 Be not thou envious against evil men; Neither desire to be with them:
If one is to ask why, Psalm 1 is the perfect answer. To be aligned with evil me is to be influenced by them. To be influenced by them is to adopt some of their ways. After the Lord’s way is set to the side, he creates for himself a new way of thinking, a philosophy that comes from the god of this world. To adopt some (or all) of their ways is to walk on a path away from the Lord and wither as the sun arises. Then they run for public office and lead the country down the destructive path toward Hell.
