Down Came Christ
Mighty is the Lord, o’er all creation!
Worlds and heavens he made, land and ocean.
Glory is his, power to him belongs;
To him are sung the highest angels’ songs.
God directs the heavenly bodies’ motion;
Down came Christ to right our human wrongs.
Love and mercy brought us full salvation.
[Poetry doesn’t get much limelight these days, but we’ll give it a voice here. A good poem can say a lot with a little and it be memorable. Thanks to Randal, our poet laureate, for another contribution.]
